Discovery of India

These past few days I've been tying to read a book called Discovery of India written by Nehru. It seemed like an interesting book because it had lots of history and history is my favorite subject. I started reading and found out it had a lot of philosophy. That made kind of hard for me to understand, so I quit reading that and started Freedom at Midnight. Now that is a cool book.

    Did you know Nehru wrote this book "Discovery of India" during his imprisonment by the British? I am glad you are making an effort to read the book. As for Freedom at Midnight, it is my all-time favorite, documenting many facts of Indian independence struggle, partition and esp. Gandhi's assassination.
    I am glad you are stepping out of the comfort of your usual books :)
